The stars have hit the red carpet for the British Soap Awards, which are being hosted by Jane McDonald at The Lowry in Salford. Jane stepped in to host the awards after Phillip Schofield was forced to step down.
As expected, there was plenty of glamour on the red carpet, as well as pops of colour. Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney led the way in a reddish/orange gown with gold embellishments, she accessorised with a gold bag. Fellow Corrie actress Charlotte Jordan also chose a brightly coloured dress and went for a hot pink dress.

Another star who looked glamorous at the British Soap Awards 2023 was Jason Donovan’s daughter, actress Jemma Donovan who stars in Hollyoaks. She opted for a red strapless dress and arrived at the event with I’m A Celebrity star Owen Warner. Jemma Donovan and Owen Warner recently enjoyed a holiday together in Morocco and shared snaps of their time away on Instagram.
One star who didn’t quite hit the fashion mark on the night was Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey who opted for a lingerie style lace barely there black dress. The gown featured a corset-style bodice and long train and Chelsee opted for matching lace gloves that were a little too much.
Chelsee, who plays Goldie McQueen on Hollyoaks, opted to wear her hair up and was seen posing for photographs with Jennifer Metcalfe and Jorgie Porter.
