Keith Lemon is back to host the 26th season of Celebrity Juice, a comedy panel show that has been running since 2008.

The show sees celebrity guests take part in a series of bizarre games and features some tabloid celebrity trivia.

Known for its crude, no holds barred humour, Celebrity Juice is deserving of its post-watershed slot.

Who is Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon?

Keith Lemon is the television persona of comedian Leigh Francis, who has been active in the British comedy scene since the 1990s.

His breakout project was Bo’ Selecta, a sketch show in which he impersonated a range of celebrities wearing horrific caricature masks.

Bo’ Selecta didn’t age well and in 2020, Francis apologised for portraying black celebrities on the show.

After the show was axed, Francis kept the Lemon character, and has hosted 25 seasons of Celebrity Juice as Keith Lemon.

Who are the team captains?

Team captains Laura Whitmore and Emily Atack, who joined for the 24th season of the show, will both be staying on.

Laura Whitmore is an Irish model, TV and radio presenter.

She hosted I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! from 2011-2016 and competed in the 14th season of Strictly Come Dancing with professional dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

After Caroline Flack’s arrest for assault in 2020, Whitmore took over as host of Love Island for season six of the show.

Emily Atack is an actress and TV presenter who became famous for her role as ‘it girl’ Charlotte Hinchcliffe in teen comedy series The Inbetweeners.

She has also featured in the films Dad’s Army and Lies We Tell.
