Celebrity Masterchef: Celebrity Cook-Off 2025 - who is in the cast, what time is it on, what are the cooking challenges?
Famous faces are getting ready to battle it out in the Masterchef kitchen in a festive editon of the BBC show.
‘Tiz the season to cook, and four celebs are putting their culinary skills to the test tonight (Monday December 22) on a festive editon of BBC cookery contest Masterchef.
As it is Christmas, the two foodie challenges they must complete will both have a festive theme - but with a twist.
First, they must follow a recipe for a celebratory Christmas centrepiece - and with each dish having an Italian twist, the judges call in 2024 Celebrity MasterChef champion, Strictly Come Dancing pro Vito Coppola to help judge the results. After that, the contestants have one simple task - serve up their ultimate Christmas dinner.
So, who are the celebs hoping to get an early Christmas gift in the form of the coveted Golden Whisk trophy? Reality TV star and Loose Woman GK Barry, Ted Lasso actor Kola Bokinni, BBC disability correspondent Nikki Fox and comedian and Love Island narrator Iain Stirling. They will all be showing off their cooking skills tonight in an effort to impress judges Grace Dent and John Torode.
In a teaser for the show, now available to watch on BBC iPlayer, GK Barry joked that the only similarity between cooking and her day job was that she does both drunk, while Kola said he was a “big kid” who loved Christmas.
Nikki said her loved ones couldn’t believe she was competing but added that she cooked a “banging fry-up” in 1998. Iain, meanwhile, called himself an “idiot” for taking part and confessed his family knew he didn’t have the ability required for the show.
The winner will take away the Golden Whisk trophy - but you’ll have to watch to find out exactly who that is.
- Celebrity Masterchef Celebrity Cook-Off 2025 will air tonight (Monday December 22) on BBC One at 8pm. Christmas Day early birds can also watch a repeat on BBC Two at 4am on December 25.
