A house becomes a home when you smell freshly baked bread, bacon frying in the oven or brewed coffee, and for some celebs across the pond, a British baking show provides the same ultimate comfort.
The Great British Bake Off has amassed a huge following since its initial launch in 2010 on the BBC and remained popular even when it moved home to Channel 4 in 2017.

Hide AdIt has evolved to have several spin-off shows including Junior Bake Off and Celebrity Bake Off raising money for Stand Up 4 Cancer, with the latest line-up revealed on 7 February 2023.
Joining the cast for the 2023 series is long-time Great British Bake Off enthusiast and true ‘Friend’ David Schwimmer who will compete against the likes of Gemma Collins, Paddy McGuinness and Tom Daley.
David will be hoping to impress judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood while raising money for a good cause, but also will live out a dream of his to star on the show.
The actor previously told the Radio Times: "I love [GBBO]. There’s such a good spirit on that show. It’s competitive, but everyone’s so lovely with each other. It's so not American."

Anna told Graham Norton: "I am really upset about it. I'm sad. But it's great that it immediately turned Mel and Sue into folk heroes and we're all so proud of Mary who followed them. And of course Paul stayed – with his bread and his goatee."

Apparently, Taylor Swift even took inspiration from previous episodes using it as ‘food for thought’ in her kitchen when she was baking, and was a lover of when Mary Berry was a judge on the show.
