Laurel goes on to talk about how she dealt with filming the dramatic storyline, which took place away from the Emmerdale studios on location. “It was four days in one hot bedroom! We were on location. It was quite small and it was filmed on a hand-held camera to give the story a sense of danger. It was pretty intense, actually.”

The Mirror reported that “Emmerdale’s Laurel Thomas was kidnapped in distressing scenes on Tuesday as evil Colin made it clear he blamed her for ‘losing’ his son Marshall. Colin has been unable to come to terms with his son bravely coming out as gay and, instead, kidnapped Laurel after she made the decision to fly to India to be by Jai Sharma’s side as he buried his father Rishi.”

Away from filming dramatic storylines for Emmerdale, Charlotte Bellamy is married to Mungo Denison, she met him when she was 19 years old. Although Charlotte met Mungo when she was a teenager, the couple married in 2012 after having three children together.

Charlotte revealed to The Sunday Mirror that “We sat there at breakfast and said to the kids, ‘We’re getting married today,’ and they were like, ‘What?” Charlotte and Mungo’s three children are Sunnie, Herbie and Teddie Boo Florence. g

It was recently revealed that actor Robert Beck is returning to the ITV soap Emmerdale after 24 years but will be playing a completely different character.
