If you would like your very own piece of Game of Thrones memorabilia then now is your chance as iconic props and costumes from the TV epic are about to go under the hammer. GoT superfans will have the opportunity to bid on everything from costumes and jewellery to set decorations and weaponry.
More than 2,000 pieces across 900 lots are being sold from David Benioff and D. B. Weiss’ acclaimed adaptation of the George R.R. Martin’s novels. Highlights include Jon Snow’s Valyrian steel sword Longclaw, Jaime Lannister’s golden hand, a sword-forged iron throne, and even a dragon egg and skull.

Hide AdAhead of the sale, HBO Executive Vice President of Production, Janet Graham Borba, said: “Game of Thrones has been one of HBO's most successful series and has created an incredible and dedicated fan base around the world. We are excited to give fans an opportunity to take home a little piece of Westeros, while also giving them a glimpse of the creativity and the groundbreaking work that went into the series.”
The Heritage Auctions and HBO event is open for bidding and takes place from October 10 to 12. Executive Vice President Joe Maddalena of Dallas-based Heritage Auctions said: “I look forward to every auction held at Heritage, but the Game of Thrones auction is something I’ve been eagerly anticipating for a long, long time.
“Seldom have we held an Entertainment auction on such a grand scale, highlighted by our exhibitions in New York, London, Chicago and Dallas. It’s always a joy working with HBO, and it’s an honour to present such remarkable pieces from such an extraordinary series.”
