Whether you are a fan of Eurovision or not, you cannot help but have failed to notice that all the headlines are about Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham. As I was scrolling through Twitter last night, it was less about what everyone thought about the singers, and more about how incredible Hannah looked.
One fan took to twitter to say: “So we’re all in agreement that Hannah Waddingham needs to host Eurovision every year, right?” whilst another said: “Douze points go to Hannah Waddingham.” Even Carol Vorderman said: “Can I just vote for Hannah Waddingham to be on everything on the telly at all times please?”

Hide AdAs expected, Hannah Waddingham’s Eurovision final dress or dresses didn’t disappoint either. She started the evening in an off-the shoulder purple sparkly dress before changing into a pale pink gown later. For the semi-finals she wowed in a Suzanne Neville yellow dress.
I am very familiar with the designs of Suzanne Neville and have met her on several occasions as she has been creating bespoke bridal gowns, as well as mother of the bride outfits and evening dresses for years.
When Suzanne Neville posted photographs of Hannah Waddingham in her Eurovision semi-final dress on Twitter, fans were quick to sing their praises of the dress. One wrote: “Loooove it!” whilst another said: “She looked absolutely gorgeous. Mesmerising dress.” Suzanne Neville has also created dresses for Hannah for previous occasions In 2021, Hannah wore a bespoke ‘Carmella’ bodice with a full skirt and a long train in black ‘Anastasia’ tulle for the Pride of Britain Awards.
Hannah Waddingham is not the only star who Suzanne Neville creates bespoke dresses for. She created a beautiful sparkly tulle dress for Holly Willoughby for week 4 of Dancing on Ice. For the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 final, Suzanne created a corseted strapless black dress with silver detailing for Tess Daly.

As well as having stockists all over the world, Suzanne Neville also has boutiques in the heart of Knightsbridge, London, and also in Altrincham in Cheshire.
Now back to Hannah! It wasn’t only her dresses that wowed the Eurovision viewers. It was everything about her, her natural charisma, and of course her fluent French has to be praised too.
I think co-host Alesha Dixon spoke for all the nation when she said to her during the semi-final: “Honestly Hannah I could listen to you do that all night.”
Let’s hope Hannah Waddingham returns to Eurovision again for the nation's sake!
