This Morning: A closer look at Holly Willoughby's relationship with husband Dan Baldwin

It’s been a tough few weeks for Holly Willoughby with everything that's going on with the Phillip Schofield drama and allegations of This Morning’s toxic workplace. The daytime host returned to the show for the first time since the scandal began yesterday alongside Josie Gibson. 

Holly has spent the last few weeks in sunny Portugal with her family and husband Dan Baldwin for support. But who is Holly’s husband Dan? We take a closer look at the relationship between the couple. 

It’s not just Holly that works in the entertainment industry as Dan is a TV producer and has worked on shows including Keith Lemon’s Celebrity Juice and Virtually Famous. Dan started his career working at the BBC as a researcher for children’s TV show Live and Kicking. He has also won many accolades for his work including a BAFTA. National Television Awards and the Royal Television Society awards.  

Dan is also managing director of the media company Hungry Bear Media Ltd and Holly owns the talent agency Roxy management.

Holly met Dan in 2004 when he was a producer on children's series 'Ministry of Mayhem', Holly co-presented the show with Stephen Mulhern. Three years later, the couple got married at St Michael’s church and then later Amberley Castle in West Sussex. Holly's bridesmaids were best friend TV presenter Fearne Cotton, Sarah Cawood and her sister Kelly. Dan had his brother Dom as his best man and and TV star Dermot O’Leary was an usher. They will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary on the 4 August 2023.

At the time Holly explained to OK! ! “We used to go there when I was little for lunch every time there was a special occasion. I think I just knew I would get married there.”

The couple live in a £3 million London home with their three children, eldest son Harry, daughter Belle and youngest son Chester. They also have a golden retriever dog named Bailey. Holly and Dan are very private when it comes to their relationship and their children only sharing glimpses of the youngsters without their faces on show on social media.
