Huge warning for Death In Paradise fans as this week's episode is moved in BBC schedule - when is the next episode on?
Death In Paradise fans are being warned that this week’s episode of the hit BBC series will not be shown in its usual slot.
The BBC crime series transported viewers back to the tropical island of Saint Marie upon the launch of series 15 of the show last month.
DI Mervin Wilson (Don Gilet) and his team were back to solve crimes on the island, with new mysteries unraveling throughout the past few episodes.
Now, fully into the swing of series 15, fans are being warned that the usual schedule of Death In Paradise is being interrupted this week.
New episodes normally hit screens at 9pm on Friday nights on BBC One. However, this week, BBC One will instead be carrying coverage of the FA Cup match between Hull City and Chelsea.
Coverage of the match will begin at 7.30pm, with kick-off at 7.45pm, and is expected to end around 10pm (unless the match goes to extra time). As a result, there is no space for Death In Paradise to air in its usual 9pm slot.
Instead, viewers will be able to catch episode three of Death In Paradise series 15 at 9pm on Monday, February 16. As a result, BBC favourite Silent Witness will also be moved from Monday and Tuesday evening to Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
However, there’s good news for Death In Paradise fans who don’t want to wait until Monday night to watch the newest episode. Episode three will be added to BBC iPlayer from 8.45pm on Friday, February 13 for you to watch at your pleasure over the weekend.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads: "Mervin and the team are left perplexed when a reclusive pensioner is shot dead in his home. A prime suspect is quickly established in the form of an unassuming accountant.
"The evidence seems damning – a figure matching the suspect’s description was witnessed fleeing the crime scene. And when questioned, there’s clearly something shifty about this guy. The only problem? He’s got a rock-solid alibi.
"Meanwhile, the commissioner is determined to get the islanders back on side with a community-focused initiative. But tensions rise when Mervin goes rogue during the launch event."
