The I'm A Celebrity finalists have been revealed as the seventh person was voted out of the jungle last night (Saturday December 9).  The ITV show is preparing to wrap up its 23rd series on Sunday December 10 after three long weeks in the Australian wilderness. Unfortunately for one campmate, the journey has been cut short after being voted out by the public - and that campmate was... Josie Gibson.

The Big Brother star narrowly missed out on the final with Nigel Farage, Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew proceeding to Sunday's showdown. She follows fellow contestants Marvin Humes, Danielle Harold, Nick Pickard, Frankie Dettori, Nella Rose and Fred Sirieix in being voted out of the jungle.

In her exit interview with hosts Ant & Dec, Josie rallied behind Sam to become King of the Jungle, making her the seventh campmate to back the Made in Chelsea star. "Sam has just got a magic about him, he's entertaining from the moment he wakes up until he goes to sleep," she said.

Sam is also the bookies' favourite for King of the Jungle, with his closest rival to the jungle crown being former heavyweight boxer Tony Bellew. The Made In Chelsea star has become a hit with viewers and his campmates who have all backed him to win after being eliminated.

Josie will be remembered for her 'feud' with Fred Sirieix as the pair locked horns over the role of camp chef. Reflecting on the moment, Josie said: "I was trying to cook and Fred was criticising everything I do... I think I put him straight at the end. In the end, I just had to settle it with a showdown. We had a showdown in the end and I won."

Josie Gibson rose to fame after winning Big Brother in 2010. Since then, the Bristolian has become a well-known face of ITV’s This Morning family since joining the team in 2019. She currently presents the show alongside Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clarke and Craig Doyle.  On Friday, Marvin Humes was eliminated from the jungle after the JLS singer lost out to Josie Gibson in the public vote. Following his departure, the X-Factor star spoke about his close relationship with campmate Sam.

The pair kept spirits high in the camp by performing and singing to other campmates. Marvin said: "I didn't stop singing did I! I never sing that much, not even in JLS, it's usually Aston [Merrygold].

"In there it brings a bit of happiness to the camp, the songs that we made up, I heard as well that Everybody in Love has gone back in the charts. Rochelle said yesterday which is amazing. I said to Sam as well he has got to come and perform with me and the lads at some point next year."

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! concludes on Sunday (December 10) at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
