Gogglebox’s Babatúndé Aléshé pressed disgraced politician Matt Hancock about his love life after footage was leaked of Gina Coladangelo affair

Babatúndé Aléshé has been applauded by I’m A Celebrity viewers for delivering the “line of the season” when pressing Matt Hancock about his love life.

The former Health Secretary had just returned to the camp after collecting all 11 stars in the Bushtucker trial, Tentacles of Terror, and was congratulated by his ten campmates.

Matt entered the jungle on Wednesday night alongside comedian Seann Walsh to join the likes of Mike Tindall and Boy George.

In his second day Down Under, Babatúndé started questioning the politician about his life following the infamous cheating scandal that saw Matt Hancock kissing former Aide Gina Coladangelo.

The footage led to Matt’s resignation from the Cabinet as well as nationwide disgrace.

Babatúndé asked Matt: “How have things been?” to which the MP replied: “It was really tough.”

The Gogglebox star questioned whether life had become tough because he had “messed up”.

Matt said: “I messed up and I fessed up. I resigned and it’s no excuse but I fell in love right? That also had a lot of other consequences obviously.”

Babatunde responded: “You didn’t just fall in love, you were grabbing booty bruv!”

As the conversation continued, Matt confessed to still being with Gina and detailed seeing her at the end of the I’m A Celebrity bridge when he will be kicked out, as the “best thing.”
