ITV2 will see Maya Jama return as host to the villa after she replaced Laura Whitmore.

It will be the first time Maya has hosted the Summer Love Island. The TV presenter nearly broke the internet with her stunning outfits in the last series and was a firm favourite with viewers.

It has been reported that the first islander is Andre Furtado. The 21-year-old from Dudley is an economics graduate and according to the Mirror co-founder of kids clothing brand Social Kids, which already boasts 17.5k followers on Instagram before it’s even launched.

The singleton is set to join a brand new lineup of contestants with hopes of finding his love in the villa. An insider told the Mail Online “Andre is the perfect Love Island signing… he's cool, calm, collected, and ready to mingle.”

“He knows himself but without being arrogant and producers are hoping his intellect, as well as his creativity and handsome looks will make him a favourite among the females.”
