Our video editor Lisa Trainer is putting together PeopleWorld's Hot or Not list while editor Marina Licht is enjoying some festive time off.

Top of our hot list for today is Maya Jama, the new presenter of Love Island. The show will be filming in South Africa which allows for the winter scheduling to still show us the glorious sunshine villa scenes which people expect from the reality series. There have been eight series of Love Island and Maya takes over from Laura Whitmore.

The show has evolved over the eight series and we of course remember the incredible presenting skills of Caroline Flack, who sadly died.

Maya has big shoes to fill, but she's looking enthused for the task and a trailer has been released ahead of next month's launch of the show. We wish Maya well and we know it'll take her profile to a higher level, as it did for Laura who recently starred in west end thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story.

Our next hot for today is Harry Styles. He's had a hectic year in 2022 and ensured he was back home with his loving family. His mother, Anne, posted a series of images to her Instagram page which showed Harry with his mum and sister, Gemma, and a lovely array of beautiful home shots which showed a huge Christmas tree, feast on a dining table and an idyllic fireplace.

Harry has been juggling a lot with his film releases, including the high profile Don't Worry Darling directed by his now-ex-girlfriend Olivia Wilde. He's also had his third album out in May and he's got a huge tour in the UK and worldwide in 2023. We hope he has a good break recharging his batteries with the people who know him best.

Our final hot for today is Michelle Obama. The wife of former US president Barack, and mother to their two daughters, Michelle has ensured she's been a huge support to her family. And now she's keeping it real and saying she 'resented' her husband for 10 years of their marriage. This might sound an odd statement, but when you hear her say it in context on a US TV chat show it al makes sense.

She explains that when you're a couple with no kids things are much simpler, and once children arrive there is a dividing of tasks which needs to happen. If she saw Barack going for a game of golf then she wondered how he had the time and resented his time away for himself. His career also went through the roof when he went for and won the role of US president. Michelle put her own career as an attorney on hold to support her husband and girls.

Michelle, you're a woman to tell the truth and many other women will see themselves in your story.

Our first not for today is Prince Andrew. There's going to be a musical parody of the disgraced duke's life broadcast on Channel 4 this evening (Thursday 29 December 2022). We look forward to watching and seeing the kind of experimental TV that executives usually shy away from. If we can't mock Prince Andrew then satire is dead.

Our next not for today is Elon Musk. He's spoken out about the pitfalls of being CEO of any business... a situation he has ensured for himself. We can't feel sorry for you Elon, you've made this very much your day-to-day reality. Tesla's stock is looking in bad shape and he told his staff to ignore the stats. Twitter is in a chaotic state after the last few months of Musk's meddling. Let's see what happens in 2023 for Elon Musk...

Our last not is Andrew Tate. He's had a very public spat with the environmentalist campaigner Greta Thunberg. He thought he was being clever when trolling her with how many cars he owned. Instead, he got his just-desserts as she said to him he was exhibiting 'small d*** energy'. Well, yeah. Andrew is apparently famous for being an 'influencer'. He needs to think about how he uses such a platform as he's missing the mark at the moment.
