Millie Bobby Brown joins a list of celebrities that got engaged at 19 years old

Millie Bobby Brown, 19, announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, 20, in a cute Instagram post but fans think they are too young to be engaged or even thinking about getting married. 

The Stranger Things actress may seem older than she is after first appearing on our screens in 2016. Millie was just 12 when she started in the show and has since gone onto act and produce films as well as starting her own beauty empire and writing her first book. 

At just 19 it would appear that Millie has already lived several lives so no wonder he is planning the next chapter of marriage. She definitely isn't the first celebrity to get engaged at a young age nor will she be the last.

Kim Kardashian - Before marrying Kanye or even the 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim was engaged to music producer Damon Thomas. The couple eloped and got married but split up after three years due to ‘physical and emotional abuse’ on Thomas' part. 

Miley Cyrus - After years of on again off again Miley and Liam Hemsworth are officially over. But once upon a time when they were ‘on’ the couple got engaged when the ‘Flowers’ singer was just 19. The pair eventually married in 2018 but ended their marriage after two years.  

Olivia Wilde - She is often in the media for her relationships with exes Harry Styles and Jason Sudeikis. However, the actress has actually only been engaged and married once. When she was 19 Olivia married filmmaker and Italian Prince Tao Ruspoli. The pair were together for eight years before splitting in 2011. 

Drew Barrymore - The actress-turned-TV presenter got engaged and married LA bar owner Jeremy Thomas. The couple enjoyed 19 days of blissful marriage. It was reported that the age difference and Jeremy being 12 years older than Drew was the reason for the pair splitting up.
