Selena Gomez returns to social media and shares behind the scenes snap on set of Only Murders in the Building

Selena Gomez returns to Instagram and teases Only Murders in the Building fans with a behind the scenes picture alongside actor Jesse Williams. Selena, 30, shared the snap of the pair in make-up after recently announcing she was taking a break from social media. 

The actors looked happy as they posed together for a behind the scenes pic and shared on her Instagram with the caption read: "So @ijessewilliams is killing it on season 3 guys.. @onlymurdershulu @hulu."

Prompting streaming service and home of the series, Hulu to tease fans with the comment: “hold up... did you say... killing??”

Only Murders in the Building follows three characters Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) creating a podcast to solve the murders taking place in a New York City apartment which has seen two deaths already.

Season three of the murder mystery series will see Steve and Martin return alongside Selena. As well as newcomers Hollywood icons Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd and Emily in Paris star Ashley Park. 

The actress had only good things to say about working with Selena on the Hulu series describing her co-star to E News as: “the absolute sweetest.” Ashley explained:  "I've had such joy on that set."

There is no release date yet but as series one and two aired in the month of August we can hopefully expect season three in Summer 2023. 

Selena has regained her title of ‘most followed female on Instagram’’ with over 390 million followers over the weekend taking over from previous title holder Kylie Jenner after she lost over one million followers and now only has a mere 379 million. 

The singer previously held this title back in 201g and is now third most followed person on Instagram behind footballers Lionel Messi (436 million) and Cristiano Ronaldo (554 million).

This comes after Selena said she would be taking a break from social media due to the Kylie Jenner drama. Speaking on a TikTok live she said: “I’m gonna be taking a second from social media cause this is a little silly and I’m 30. I’m too old for this.”
