Simon Cowell, 63, has kicked off promotion for Britain’s Got Talent just days after David Walliams quits the show. However, Cowell’s new look seems to have fans distracted.

Cowell can be seen in a short video talking to the camera and asking fans to get involved with this upcoming season of Britain’s Got Talent. He said: "I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life. And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you. So please audition now for next year’s season and I look forward to meeting you."

However, fans were quick to notice a change in the TV Mogul’s face from his usual look. One person took to Twitter: “Bloody Hell! Simon Cowell looks unrecognisable. Walking advert for not having plastic surgery.”

However, others were loving the new look with one Instagram user commenting on the video: 'Simon Cowell gets younger and younger each year’ and another person adding: ‘Looking well!’

The Britain’s Got Talent judge has always been open about the fact that he has frequently used cosmetic procedures to enhance his look. He previously told Glamour: “To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste. It works, you do it once a year – who cares?”

However, in a recent interview Cowell admitted to the Sun that: "There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise it as me first of all. Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero."

Later in the day, the TV Mogul took to the stage at the Royal Variety Performance 2022 at London’s Royal Albert Hall. He appeared in front of a star-studded audience including Ellie Goulding, Rita Wilson, and Becky Hill.

Cowell has reportedly gone through a total lifestyle overhaul and lost 20lbs over the last two years. He has done so by keeping to a regular sleep and exercise schedule, after breaking his back in an accident where he crashed his electric bike near his home in Malibu in 2020. Cowell had to have extensive surgery and  suffered complications from surgery to fuse his vertebrae, which required him to mostly stay in bed for six months.
