As Vanessa Feltz is ‘in demand’ for Celebs Go Dating, we look at potential well-known suitors for her

I am sure I was not alone in feeling tremendous sympathy with Vanessa Feltz following her split from Ben Ofoedu after 16 years together. She hadn’t been on social media for three weeks before coming on Instagram five days ago to reveal that she had broken up with her long time partner.

“I honestly didn’t know what to say to you on Instagram,” she revealed. “Now it's clear that it's over, I really do feel that once the trust in a relationship has gone, you can't really get it back.” Vanessa revealed that she felt incredibly sad, but also said she was full of resolve and said she wasn’t going to allow this to “defeat her.”

Vanessa’s post on her Instagram has so far been liked by 192,220 and she has 56 comments, with many well-known faces such as Mrs Hinch, Holly Willoughby, Zoe Ball, Shirlie Kemp and Lisa Snowdon offering her their support.

She then did a post two days ago to thank everyone for their messages.

Although Vanessa Feltz is only just single and is unlikely to be wanting to date again immediately, I am not surprised that she is in demand for the next series of Celebs Go Dating. The 60 year old television personality (turning 61) next month is a force to be reckoned with and I have long admired her for her sharp wit and intelligence.

Pete Wicks

Pete Wicks may have been on Celebs Go Dating three times, but there is no reason why he can’t go on it for the fourth time, is there? Pete Wicks may only be in his thirties, but I think he could be more than a match for Vanessa Feltz.

Although the TOWIE star has admitted to past ‘commitment’ issues, perhaps he is yet to meet his dream woman? He revealed on the show last year that his late grandmother had given him some advice when it came to dating. “My nan always used to say to me that the two things you should fall in love with are someone’s eyes, because they never age and someone’s heart because it never changes. It’s the truth.”

Pete Wicks also seems to have a penchant for blondes, so perhaps Vanessa Feltz is the right woman for him?

Michael Che

Vanessa Feltz is obviously feeling a little low after her breakup and could obviously do with cheering up. Cue Michael Che who is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live. Although there might be a slight problem in terms of geographical distance (Michael lives in the States), perhaps he could make a flying visit to the Uk for an introduction to Vaness? The stand up comedian is reportedly single and although he is not yet 40, there is no reason why an older lady might not turn his head.

What does Vanessa Feltz need after a painful break up? Why only People’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive, Chris Evans? OK, yes I know Chris is nearly 20 years younger than Vanessa and lives in the States, but it is always worth having high aspirations, particularly when it comes to dating!

Although Chris is reportedly dating actress Alba Baptista, the pair are not engaged yet. So there is still hope Vanessa!
