Strictly Come Dancing has now entered its twelfth week which means there are just two weeks left of the BBC One show.

The remaining celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners will all have their eyes on the glitterball trophy, but only one can dance their way to victory.

From the tango to salsa and waltz to foxtrot, the stars have given each performance their best shot and the top four will now battle it out in the semi finals, on December 11.

So, when are the finals and who remains in the competition? This is what you need to know.

When is the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 finals?

The show will come to an end on December 18, as the final two dance for the chance to win the 2021 series.

BBC One will air the finals live from 7pm, with two hours of entertainment and a guest performance from Ed Sheeran.

During the finals, the remaining three couples will each dance twice and the judges - led by Shirley Ballas, will score each couple on the execution of their routines.

On 11 December, the remaining four couples will dance for a place in the 2021 Strictly Come Dancing finals.

The four remaining couples are:

  • TV presenter AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington
  • EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice
  • Bake off Winner John Waite and Johannes Radebe
  • CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and Nancy Xu

The finalists will be confirmed during the week 12 results show, on 12 December.

Who is favourite to win Strictly 2021?

Rose and Giovanni are now firm favourites to win the show, and going by week 11 results the bookies odds seem to be reflected in the show’s outcome.

According to PaddyPower, Ayling-Ellis and Pernice have odds of 1/5 of winning, followed closely by AJ and Kai at 7/1 despite finding themselves in the bottom two with Dan and Nadiya.

Great British Bake Off winner John Waite is third favourite, with odds of 9/1, while CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson is the bookmakers favourite to be cut in the semi finals, with odds of 80/1 of winning.
