As sources revealed Paul Hollywood raked in £3.2 million last year from his TV work and sales of cookbooks and kitchenware, the impressive figure is still some way off from UK TV’s top earners.

The baking aficionado reportedly raked in a higher salary than the likes of Holly Willoughby and Lorraine Kelly last year as well as some Premier League players but the Great British Bake Off presenter does not even appear in the top 10 of highest television presenters in the UK according to figures.

Instead, Ant and Dec are believed to be the top earners of UK TV after signing a £40 million-a-year deal with ITV last year raising the respective net worth's of the I’m A Celebrity duo to £62 million each including their salary from their production company as well.

Multiple ITV presenters filled the top UK TV earners last year including Amanda Holden who took second place behind Ant and Dec as she made a reported £850,000 per episode of Britain’s Got Talent while Holly Willoughby was said to make £700,000 from This Morning episodes.

Holly’s former co-host Phillip Schofield appeared on the 2022 list, however due to the recent scandal in which the presenter confessed to having an affair with a younger male colleague and subsequently left the show as brand deals dropped him, his earnings have fallen massively.

From ITV, the likes of Dermot O’Leary and Stephen Mulhern are said to earn £600,000 and £800,000 from the broadcaster ranking them high up the list however BBC presenters are scattered between them.

According to the Guardian, last year Gary Lineker remained the BBC’s highest-paid presenter for his work on Match of the Day that brought in a £1.35 pay packet while Zoe Ball clinched second place for her BBC Radio 2 show that pays £980,000.

Gary’s income from the BBC is topped up by his production company Goalhanger films that makes him worth £2 million - a figure that was thrown into the spotlight earlier this year when Gary temporarily stepped away from the broadcaster after discussing politics.
