Channel 4 have cut ties with TV couple Dick Strawbridge and wife Angel Strawbridge following an investigation into their behaviour and alleged clash with producers.
Dick and Angel are the much loved couple from popular TV show Escape to the Chateau, which follows the couple on their journey to renovate the 19th century home. The show has been on air for nine series but has now come to an end.

Hide AdThe couple first met in 2010 through a shared agent and friend and married five years later. Dick and Angel moved to France soon after and they have two young children Dorothy and Arthur.
The TV personality was previously married to Brigit Strawbridge for 28 years. The former couple married in 1982 which was shortly after he had been promoted to lieutenant in the British army and had two children Charlotte and James.
Brigit is an environmental activist with a particular interest in bees. She is the author of the book 'Dancing with Bees: A Journey Back to Nature'. The book was The Sunday Times Best Nature Writing Books in 2020 and was also Shortlisted for the 2020 Wainwright Prize.
Brigit is a patron for Caring for God Sacre which supports the management of churchyards and other burial grounds as havens for wildlife, people and heritage.

Hide AdShe is also an ambassador for Kernow Conservation who work in partnership with other conservation organisations, local businesses and landowners to benefit the wildlife and communities of Cornwall.
Brigit went on to find love with her partner Rob Howard and the couple married in 2017 and are based in Cornwall.
