Reading Festival 2021 is set to go ahead for the 50th anniversary of the Berkshire music festival.
The 2020 edition of the Festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the music festival will be returning with a bang, thanks to a sell out crowd and an impressive line up.

Stormzy, Post Malone and Liam Gallagher are set to headline the main stage across the weekend, with a host of artists and comedians also taking to the stages from 27 to 29 August.

When is Reading Festival 2021?
Reading Festival will be held on its traditional slot over the August Bank Holiday weekend on 27 to 29 August.
The festival has been held every summer since 1961 when it was originally called the National Jazz Festival and was held at Richmond Athletic Ground.

When tickets were available the weekend ticket cost £232.20 (£215.00 per ticket plus a per ticket booking fee of £17.20).

Stormzy, Post Malone and Liam Gallagher are all set to headline Reading Festival 2021.
Playing on Friday 27 August is AJ Tracey, Mabel, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Sam Fender and Seal Girls.
Joining Post Malone on Saturday 28 August is Two Door Cinema Club, The Kid Laroi, Sigrid, Disclosure, The Wombats and Slowtai.
Rounding off the festival on Sunday 29 August is Liam Gallagher, Gerry Cinnamon, Wolf Alive, Biffy Clyro, Machine Gun Kelly, and Yungblud.
What are the Covid rules at Reading Festival 2021?

Just like many other festivals and events, Reading festival will ask all ticket holders aged 11 and over to demonstrate their COVID-19 Status before entering the festival by providing either proof of full vaccination, proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test or Proof of natural immunity.
If you are resident in England, you can show your status easily via the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App.
If you arrive from Scotland and Wales you can obtain a letter to provide full vaccination status. These are available from the NHS.
Ticket holders from Northern Ireland will be required to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test.
