Cristina Perez Galcenco: Catwalk model dies aged 21
A top model has been found dead aged just 21.
Cristina Perez Galcenco, whose father is a former professional footballer in Spain, was found at her home on the Costa del Sol in Spain.
She was discovered dead in Caleta de Velez, near Malaga, on Tuesday. After starting her modelling career aged 14, she worked her way up and had appeared on catwalks in London, Madrid, Milan and Paris, and worked with Versace and Louis Vuitton.
Sources in Europe said her death isn’t being treated as suspicious.

Cristina's parents are ex-goalkeeper Nacho Perez whose former clubs include Sporting de Gijon in Spain, and Moldovan-born mother Tatiana Galcenco. They have not said anything yet.
Cristina’s body is expected to be transferred to Asturias in northern Spain where she grew up, and where her funeral will take place.
Local title La Nueva Espana quoted some people’s shock at the sad news.
Photographer Xana de Jesús said: " I can only tell her parents and family that a star shines eternally in our hearts. Cris, you always were and always will be a role model and an example to follow, both in your modeling career and as a person. I was lucky to know you and work with you ."
Hairdresser Manuel Mon was quoted as saying said: “Today we say goodbye with immense sadness to someone very special to us. A youthful and sensitive light, who was part of our history, has left us far too soon.
“Beyond her talent in front of the camera and on the catwalk, we will remember her kindness, her professionalism, and the authentic way she brought each piece to life. Her presence not only brought beauty to the work, but also humanity, respect, and a very special energy that will remain forever in our memories.”
