This vaccination invitation also extends to at-risk people aged 12 to 15 before they return to school in September.
The vaccine rollout comes as a new NHS video shows previously healthy young patients experiencing the debilitating effects of long Covid urging people to get their coronavirus vaccine.
The NHS has said that people aged 18 to 34 now make up more than one in five of those admitted to hospital with the virus, which is four times higher than the peak in winter 2020.
According to the NHS there are lots of symptoms you can have after a Covid-19 infection, some of which children may also suffer with. These are some of the common symptoms of long Covid.
