Almost 78 million people have received one dose, with the vaccination programme seeing a huge uptake in jabs in recent weeks since it was extended to everyone aged 18 and over. A booster programme is also in the works for September, which will be rolled out the the most at-risk groups, including the over-70s, health workers. The third dose is intended to help keep infection rates down over the winter period. But which parts of the country have vaccinated the most people so far? Listed are the 11 areas of England where the highest percentage of adults have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine as of 30 June.
