A host of changes will come into effect from 17 May as more sectors of the economy are allowed to reopen, rules on socialising indoors will be relaxed, and some international travel will finally resume. These are all of the lockdown changes that will take effect from Monday.
1. Level 2
All of mainland Scotand, with the exception of Glasgow and Moray, will move from Level 3 to Level 2 of coronavirus restrictions, and many islands will move to Level 1. Photo: Jeff J Mitchell
2. Hugging and meeting indoors
In Level 2 areas, six people from three households will be able to meet indoors, and eight people from eight households can meet outdoors. People will be encouraged to use their judgment about close physical contact with others. Photo: Shutterstock
3. Indoor hospitality
