Covid vaccine uptake UK: 13 areas of England with lowest uptake of coronavirus jab so far - including Liverpool and Manchester

Almost three quarters of England’s adult population have now been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

The mass rollout has seen 32.4 million people in England receive both vaccine doses, while 39.4 million have now had their first jab.

Public Health England (PHE) has said the vaccination programme is estimated to have directly averted more than 66,900 hospital admissions in the country to date, and has prevented between 57,500 and 62,700 deaths.

Recent data from NHS England shows that the seven-day average for hospital admissions has now started to decline, suggesting the steady fall in coronavirus cases, coupled with the vaccine rollout, is having an impact on hospital numbers.

But which parts of England have the lowest vaccine uptake so far? Listed are the 13 areas where the lowest percentage of the adult population have received at least one dose. Figures are based on ONS Mid-year 2019 population estimates.
