Gordon Ramsay has bought the home previously owned by Matt Hancock’s girlfriend Gina Coladangelo and her estranged husband Oliver Tress

Gordon Ramsay has purchased a new lavish five-bedroom home in London from Gina Coladangelo and her estranged husband Oliver Tress. Ramsay, 56, was spotted at the home recently and has reportedly been ‘measuring up’ the real estate decision.

The price of the home owned by Matt Hancock’s girlfriend and her ex has not yet been disclosed. However, Gina and Oliver, who is the founder of upmarket homeware and clothing chain Oliver Bonas, are said to have paid around £3.8 million for it back in 2015.

The Daily Mail reported that Gordon and his wife Tana paid in cash for the home, and property company Zoopla listed the home’s value at up to £4.75 million.

The house was previously shared by Gina Coladangelo and multi-millionaire then-husband Oliver Tress and their three children. The couple parted ways in 2021 after her affair with Matt Hancock was revealed.

Matt Hancock and Gina Colangelo’s relationship came under scrutiny as their affair was outed and led to the MP’s resignation as the UK Government’s Health Secretary. The affair was exposed when CCTV footage of Hancock kissing his now girlfriend was leaked in May 2021. Both were married to other partners at the time and had children. However, it seems that the couple have put their messy past behind them and are moving forward together in the public eye stronger than ever.

Hancock, 44, spoke about the affair during his time on ITV's I'm A Celebrity, to fellow campmate Babatunde Aléshé, explaining the end of his 15-year marriage to now ex-wife Martha Millar and subsequent courtship with Gina Colangelo, he said: “It is no excuse, but I fell in love. I messed up and I fessed up, I resigned. That also had a lot of other consequences obviously, that’s been hard but I brought it on myself so yeah, it has been tough.”

Hancock, and Coladangelo, first met at Oxford while they both studied philosophy, politics, and economics as well as volunteering at the student radio station together. Though it’s been reported by Hanock’s friends that he thought Coladangelo was out of his league.

Hancock spoke about his past relationship with his now-girlfriend saying: "I’ve known Gina for more than half of my life and we first actually worked together on student radio back in the Oxford days. So, we spent a lot of time together, ironically, trying to get me to be able to communicate in a more emotionally intelligent way."
