From decorating windowsills, to cleaning your oven, Mrs Hinch has a handy tip for everyone

Christmas is officially around the corner and you notice the house is still missing a few decorative finishing touches.

Your Christmas tree may be up and covered in tinsel, but those decorations do not stop there these days.

Thankfully, Mrs Hinch is on hand to share some easy-to-do tips and tricks to add decorations all around the home.

The Essex 'cleanfluencer' has shared ideas on how to bring that added festive touch into your homes for low costs and with decorations that would take seconds to make.

PeopleWorld takes a look at some of the best ideas the 32-year-old has shared on social media.

Festive windowsills

By carefully trimming a range of conifer plants and trees commonly found in gardens, you can add some branches to your windowsills to create a festive, warm feeling while the family is sat around the fire or watching TV.

Mrs Hinch shared a reel on Instagram where she trimmed a tree in her garden and used branches to decorate, along with ornaments and candles you can pick up at most supermarkets.

LED lights also help bring an added festive touch.

A Christmas Corner

Once again, by using branches from the garden, Mrs Hinch created a festive corner in her home in the lead up to Christmas.

Using only a small ladder, garden branches, a few baubles, LED lights, and stockings, Mrs Hinch has created a special scene at Hinch Farm.

Although the ladder was made for her by her dad, that step ladder you can find around the home ought to work just as well.

A (much-needed) oven clean

We're all guilty of forgetting to give our ovens a good clean after a while, but Mrs Hinch is here to remind us how easy it is to do.

There's a big chance your oven is going to see more action over the coming weeks than it has all year, so there's perhaps no better time to get on some gloves and get scrubbing.

First, you'll need to banish grease and baked on grime with two of Mrs Hinch's most recommended products - The Pink Stuff and Scrub Daddy.

To get the oven door sparkling clean, Mrs Hinch opts for white vinegar and a Minky M Cloth.

And when it comes to cleaning your oven racks, it has been reported that all you need to do is soak them in warm water with some washing up liquid.

Easy to make Christmas treats

Earlier this month, Mrs Hinch shared an interesting take on Christmas puddings. Except this time, you won't need to get baking.

Using chocolate digestives, melted white chocolate, smarties, and green candy buttons, the mum of two shared how she made 'christmas puddings' that can be served as a snack in the day or as an after dinner treat.

Preparing guest rooms

If you're having guests round this Christmas, you may want to go the extra-mile to make sure they are comfortable in your home.

Mrs Hinch has previously spoken about using bicarbonate powder to get rid of mattress stains after leaving it to work in for around an hour.

Use a hoover to get off any excess powder which will leave your matress looking brand new.
