I tried Stacey Solomon's new REHAB. shampoo and conditioner and was surprised by the results

I've tried plenty of shampoos and conditioners that promise healthier, shinier hair, but REHAB. Shampoo Milk and REHAB. Conditioner Milk stand out as one of the nicest duos I've used in a long time.

I was intrigued by the brand because it is co-owned by TV star and influencer Stacey Solomon, and particularly interested to try the duo because the liquid form of the shampoo and conditioner was only launched earlier this year.

I have to say that from the very first wash, my hair felt incredibly clean. Not only do the products make my hair feel great, but they look great too in their sleek cream coloured bottles. They each come in very generous 470ml volumes, and the bottles make my bathroom look like a salon.

How the shampoo performs

The shampoo does an excellent job of balancing cleansing and hydration. It removes excess oil, styling products and everyday build-up with ease. I was wondering why it was called shampoo milk at first, but I soon found out why. The shampoo has a unique lightweight, milky texture that leaves my hair feeling nourished. My hair actually felt softer before I'd even reached for the conditioner.

I also found that a little goes a long way. It lathers well, rinses easily and leaves hair feeling fresh, clean and ready for conditioning. After just one wash, my hair already looked healthier. Previously, I had to wash my hair every other day but I found straight away that I could go three days between hair washes. That is one big difference between cheaper shampoos and more expensive shampoos like this one.

REHAB. Shampoo Milk costs £18 (though at the time of writing it is in the sale for £14.40), but it’s well worth the price especially considering the size of the bottles. The fact I can now wash my hair two or three times a week rather than three or four is also hugely advantageous, both financially and in terms of time spent.

The conditioner made all the difference

REHAB. Conditioner Milk is equally impressive. It has a rich, creamy consistency that coated my hair without feeling heavy. As soon as I applied it, my hair became much easier to detangle, and after leaving it on for a couple of minutes, it rinsed away cleanly without leaving any residue.

Once my hair was dry, it felt silky smooth, looked noticeably shinier and had far less frizz than usual - which with my curly hair is hard to achieve. Even my ends, which can often feel dry, looked healthier and felt much softer.

The scent is salon-worthy too

The fresh, clean fragrance is another highlight of the REHAB. Shampoo Milk and REHAB. Conditioner Milk duo. They both smell luxurious without being overpowering, and I could still catch subtle hints of the scent throughout the day.

I do feel like I’ve been the salon after every time I wash my hair, and now my hair wash nights feel like a self-care treat rather than a chore.

The results after continued use

After using the products consistently for the last couple of months, I have experienced these results time and time again, and I found my hair became much easier to style. It looked healthier, felt smoother and even seemed less prone to tangling between washes.

My hair also had a glossy finish that didn't require any additional styling products to achieve. Styling was still needed because, as any one with a similar hair type to me will know, curls always require at least a bit of help. But, it took much less time because my hair felt softer and was more manageable.

Final verdict

What impressed me most about REHAB. Shampoo Milk and REHAB. Conditioner Milk is that the results weren't just immediate. With continued use, my hair has continued to feel softer and more manageable. Wash days have become easier, styling takes less time and I find myself reaching for fewer styling products because my hair already feels conditioned and smooth.

The duo strike an excellent balance between hydration and lightweight performance, making them a great everyday choice for anyone wanting salon-worthy results at home.

My hair felt bouncy rather than weighed down, which I have found isn’t always easy to achieve with nourishing formulas because of my curly hair. It looked naturally glossy without appearing oily too, and again that’s something I had struggled to find in products I’d used previously.

The REHAB. Shampoo Milk and REHAB. Conditioner Milk duo are created to be suitable for all hair types, and while I can’t comment on anything other than my own experience I think it’s definitely worth a go for all. It’s worth nothing they’re also vegan, cruelty free and formulated without sulfates, parabens and mineral oils.

Overall, I'd happily recommend this duo to anyone looking to upgrade their haircare routine. They leave hair feeling fresh, healthy, hydrated and noticeably smoother after every wash.
