Mitsubishi Motors UK is putting its entire heritage fleet up for auction.
The Japanese car maker will stop selling new cars in the UK later this year and ahead of becoming an aftersales-only operation, it has decided to sell off its collection of classic and rare cars.
Fourteen cars and a selection of private number plates are being sold without reserve on specialist site Auto Auction. The auction begins on 1 April and closes on 30 April, with staggered finishing times for the various lots.
As bidding gets underway, here's a look at the highlights of the auction, from 80s sports cars to the iconic Lancer Evo.

9. 2000 Mitsubishi Shogun MK2 SWB 3.0 V6
Moving things on from the first-generation Shogun, this late version of the Mk2 is also a short-wheelbase derivative but features a 3.0-litre V6 engine in place of its predecessor's 2.0-litre four-pot. The Mitsubishi heritage car lacks leather or air con but is in immaculate condition inside and out. Photo: Mitsubishi

10. 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX - Group N Works Rally Car
Unlike the other Lancers for sale that are road-going homologations of rally cars, this 2007 model is the real deal. Driven by Guy Wilkes with co-driver Phil Pugh, this Group N Evo IX won the British Rally Championship two years in a row. Photo: Max Willcock

11. 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR
To mark its 40th anniversary in the UK and the end of the Lancer Evo line, Mitsubishi launched a special edition of the ludicrous Evo X. All sorts of fettling and enhancing took the standard FQ-400 up to 434bhp (the 440PS of the name) and the car became an instant star thanks to its outrageous performance and looks. Fittingly, only 40 of these MR cars were made, making this pristine example a real collector's item. Photo: Mitsubishi

12. 1989 Mitsubishi Galant Rally
Unlike the Group N Lancer, this 1989 Galant isn't a rally winner, despite its appearance. Built as a replica to promote Pentti Airikkala’s involvement in the 1989 Lombard RAC Rally, it was converted from a regular Galant GTI by rally specialist Co-ordsport. After being dry stored for 14 years, it was acquired by Mitsubishi in 2017 and restored to road-going condition. Photo: Max Willcock
