Age-defying actress Julianne Moore dazzles in winter all-white trend

White is a colour that is normally synonymous with summer dressing. However, it seems that this is not the case in 2022.

Julianne Moore looked sensational in an all-white gown at the 2022 Gotham Awards that took place at Aubrey Plaza in New York City. At 61 years old, the age-defying actress looked nothing short of sensational.

Julianne accessorised her look with a gold necklace, matching bracelets and a gold clutch. In order not to detract from the dress, Julianne’s hair was pulled back into a classic bun.

This is not the first time Julianne has been seen in white. She is obviously a big fan of the colour as she wore it to the 2022 Met Gala that she attended with husband, film director Bart Freudlich. Julianne wowed in a strapless Tom Ford gown with opera gloves.

It would seem that even as far back as 2019, Julianne was embracing the colour, so she was obviously ahead of the trend. Julianne opted for a stunning white halter Givenchy gown at the Golden Globes that was selected for her by stylist Leslie Fremar.

Back to 2022 and it would seem that Julianne is not the only A-list star embracing the all-white trend.

Other big name celebrities who are fond of the colour include Kendall Jenner. She looked simply sensational in a minimalist white dress by Khaite when she arrived at the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards this month.

Actress Florence Pugh is another high-profile star who is keen on the all-white trend that is hot news this winter. She opted for a white ‘naked’ Victoria Beckham dress when she attended the Academy’s 13th Governors Awards in Los Angeles.

As the dress was so sheer, Florence definitely ensured that all eyes were most definitely on her. She paired the dress (like Julianne) with gold accessories such as a gold necklace.

Another star who is keen on the all-white trend is Nicola Peltz-Beckham who looked incredible in a white Miu MIu cocktail dress that she wore to the premiere of ‘Chippendales’ this month in Los Angeles. She and her brother Will Peltz both star in the new hulu television show.
