The wait is finally over. Well almost.. If you have been counting down the days until Billie Eilish’s next Nike collaboration, then you’ll be delighted to read that you can get hold of the Nike x Billie Eliish Air Force 1 Low collaboration very soon indeed.

Billie's latest sneakers in collaboraiton with Nike are due for release on October 13.

According to the Nike website, the “Nike x Billie Eilish AF1 Low uses leftover material waste from the artists prior collaborative AF1 High to create a new aesthetic for an iconic silhouette.”

The sustainability approach is clearly very important to Billie and what she wanted to achieve with the Nike collaboration. “I want my collaboration with Nike to tell a story that not only highlights the importance of recycling but also reminds us that we need to take better care of our planet,” Billie revealed.

Now, if you are unsure about which colour to choose when it comes to the Nike x Billie Eilish AF1 Low? It is available in both Mushroom and Sequoia colourways.

The launch of the Nike x Billie Eilish AF1 Low coincides with the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1.

The shoes will be ready on Billie’s website and then on December 14, they will be available at Nike on their 'SNKRS' app and select retailers.

According to the theSporting.blog, “the name of the brand, Air Force One, refers to the plane Air Force One, on which the President of the United States travels.

Since its inception in 1982, very few variations have been made in its original design.”

According to the website, “some of the “most iconic and important variations of the Nike AF-1,” include the ‘Nike Air Force 1’ (1982), ‘The Original Six’ (1983), ‘Air Force One Low’ (1983), ‘The Break’ (1984), ‘Re-introduced’ (1985), “Shoe of the month “ Club (1986-1991), ‘Sneaker Gold’ (the Mid-90s-2000, ‘Hip Hop’s Sneaker’ (2000), and ‘35th Anniversary’ (2017)

Billie is not only in the news at the moment due to her latest Nike collaboration but also because she is headlining the Reading and Leeds festivals.
