Cate Blanchett is more often on PeopleWorld's best dressed rather than worst, but at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, her outfit was just bizarre. Never one to shy away from the quirky style of fashion, Cate majority of the time usually gets it right. But now and then the Australian actress completely misses the mark.
Not sure if Cate, 53, thought she had to wear green to attend the Green Carpet Fashion Awards. As she wore a pastel green suit, matching green shirt, black tie and large pink satin bow attached to the waist.

Also at the Green Carpet Awards was supermodel Hedi Klum who sadly looked like she was dressed in the dark and rushed to the event without checking what she had on.
The model wore a grey and white high-neck, checked cropped jacket with ripped denim shorts that had a piece of material that resembled part of the American flag stitched to the front. Not the best look we’ve seen on Hedi.
Another style fail from Cate was at the 43rd London Critics' Circle Film Awards 2023 Cate wore a custom made Alexander McQueen black tuxedo suit with 80s-style electric blue satin puff sleeves.

To the 2023 Writers Guild of America Awards the actress wore a shapeless floor length nude silk dress.
The colour of the dress didn't do anything for Cate’s complexion and with no shape it just felt a bit flat.
Cate wore a Louis Vuitton peplum style dress to the 2023 Producers Guild Awards.

But we can forgive Cate and stylist Elizabeth Stewart for the odd times they get it wrong because when they get it right Cate looks sensational.
Maybe it's better to avoid the odd quirky styles and stick to show-stopping glamour.
