Dua Lipa sets a new fashion-forward twist on the hooded dress trend at Saint Laurent during Paris Fashion Week

Jenna Ortega has certainly been stealing the limelight when it comes to her recent work as an actress, but she looks to be upping her fashion game too. The 20 year old Netflix star simply wowed in a black backless dress which draped over her head in the form of a hood that she wore for the Saint Laurent Menswear Fall-Winter 2023-2024 runway show.

Jenna completed her Paris Fashion Week look with gold chunky bracelets and cool edgy makeup that added to the wow factor of the overall look.

Other stars in attendance included French actress Beatrice Dalle, Polish supermodel Anja Rubik, rapper Coi Leray and Raye.

For those of you who consider yourselves a bit of a fashionista, you would be right in thinking that you might have seen this hooded dress before?

The gown with a hood look is hotter than hot right now and Kate Moss (who recently celebrated her 49th birthday) demonstrated this when she wore a sheer Yves Saint Laurent hooded gown to the WSJ Magazine’s 2022 Innovator Awards at New York City’s Museum of Modern Art.

Kate Moss is most definitely an innovator when it comes to fashion, but even she can’t take the credit for the hooded dress trend. One can go back to the likes of singer Grace Jones who became renowned for wearing hooded dresses in the ‘80s.
