Halle Bailey did not disappoint at the Los Angeles film premiere for The Little Mermaid as she fully embraced her character 'Ariel' and the Mermaidcore fashion trend. The actress looked stunning in a shimmering metallic dress custom designed by Valdrin Sahiti that featured shell-inspired bustier and fishtail. The dress completely encapsulated the magic of the classic 1989 Disney film that has now been made into a live action remake.
Halle isn't the only actress to embrace their characters style. Celebrities make characters come to life on screen but some continue to channel their role in real life after the film or TV show wraps, taking method acting to another level.

Channelling Barbie-core, Ryan donned a bright pink jacket with a Greta Gerwig t-shirt underneath while co-star Margot personified the Mattel doll once more looking effortless in a Prada checked co-ord and slip on pink kitten heels.
They joined director Greta Gerwig and fellow Barbie actress America Ferrera in Las Vegas to show a teaser for their upcoming film which also stars the likes of Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey and Kate McKinnon.
