If you have banished your skinny jeans to the back of the wardrobe, make sure you get them out right now! Forget what the fashion experts have said about them being ‘old news’ Kate Middleton has just shown that they are anything but by wearing them in her annual Christmas card.

As Vogue comments, “we all thought the days of spray-on-pants were over.” However, for Kate, and for her legions of style fans, it seems that this is no longer the case.
‘Skinny jeans’ appear to have been a fashion staple of Kate’s over the years and very much go to a relaxed look.
She has worn them at numerous events over the years, including a tour in Canada and a trip to Wales this year.

When Princess Diana separated from the then Prince Charles (now King Charles III), she reinvented her life as well as her wardrobe.
Many have said that ‘no one did denim better’ than Princess Diana and I couldn’t agree more with this.
Diana even wore denim when she went skiing in Austria in 1993, which was seen as quite a rebellious decision even then.

This accessibility factor is clearly what Kate and William are keen on capitalising on in 2022 and wearing denim is an easy way of achieving that.
