Law Roach continues to make waves in retirement as he speaks on Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast about Zendaya

Celebrity stylist and self-proclaimed ‘image architect’ Law Roach shocked the fashion world last week after announcing his retirement. In a since deleted Instagram post he explained that his ‘cup is empty’ and thanked everyone that had supported him over his 10-year reign but it was the “politics, the lies and false narratives” that finally got him.

Law has styled some of Hollywood's biggest stars and his client list includes Hunter Schafer, Meg The Stallion, Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, Bella Hadid and Zendaya. The looks he has created for actress Zendaya have been some of the most loved and memorable outfits.

He was the stylist that helped the actress break away from the Disney child-star into the movie star actress she is now. 

In a recent interview with model Emily Ratajkowski on her podcast ‘High and Low with EmRata’ the ‘unemployed’ stylist revealed that he didn’t give close friend Zendaya any warning that he was going to retire. He said: “It was tough on her” then went on to say that the Spiderman: Homecoming actress called him and said: “She called and said, 'Girl, I thought we'd make big decisions together."

The stylist also explained that it wasn’t Zendaya that caused him to retire after a video emerged of the actress 'sending him' to sit on the second row at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris. The internet turned on the actress and blamed her for his retirement. 

Law explained to Emily on the podcast that the ‘internet is cruel’ and that none of the things people were saying ‘were true’.

He said that Zendaya has always ‘protected’ him in the industry and even tried to talk him out of retiring by saying that she would book him a ‘holiday’ if he needed a break. 

Discussing that ‘viral video’ clip, Law described that the show was ‘chaotic’ and they were ‘really really late’.

After rushing around he was confused as to where he should sit so the actress innocently pointed to a seat behind her where her assistant was but the internet turned it into something it wasn’t.
