Is Michelle Yeoh stealing the show on the red carpet after chic appearance at the Baftas 2023?

It would seem that Michelle Yeoh is proving that age is no barrier when it comes to success professionally and on the red carpet. When I saw Michelle Yeoh on the red carpet at the Baftas 2023, my first thought was ‘Wow, how chic does she look?’

Michelle looked impossibly elegant in a soft pink trouser suit with voluminous sleeves. She accessorised the outfit with chandelier earrings and gold high heeled shoes. This is not the first time that Michelle has impressed on the red carpet with her fashion credentials.

According to Vogue: “The 60-year-old star has proven her versatility in the eveningwear category by mixing and matching designers, silhouettes, textures and colours with one failsafe accessory to anchor them all: that signature knowing smile that says she’s confident going her own way in an industry that fosters a herd mentality.”

For the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon, Michelle opted for a sequined tweed Chanel suit that simply oozed sophistication. One of my favourite Michelle outfits to date has to be the one that she chose to wear to the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards in January of this year.

Like at this years BAFTAs, sleeves were an important part of Michelle’s Critics Choice Awards outfit. She wore a stunning Carolina Herrera black dress with voluminous pink sleeves (clearly a winning look for Michelle!)

Michelle Yeoh not only won the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy award at the Golden Globes but she also stole the fashion headlines too in a beautiful Armani Privé midnight blue sequined gown. It also featured a peplum, which is certainly a key fashion trend of the moment.
