First the ‘skinny eyebrow’ trend and now it’s the perm making a resurgence and supermodels and celebrities are leading the way for this hair revival. If you remember the perm (permanent) from the 80’s then you will remember lots of frizz and mousse, oh there was a lot of mousse!
Anyone that had a perm back in the day will have a dodgy picture of them with the hairstyle we all try to forget. So you would be surprised to hear that not only is it making a comeback but it’s also supermodel approved.

Hide AdBella Hadid is the latest A-lister to step out with a head full of curls that would be the envy of anyone.
The model shared an image of herself on her social media at the Stanton Social Prime at Caesars Palace, wearing a skin-tight red dress with bell sleeves and her freshly curled hair cascading over her shoulders. It’s enough to make you call the salon ASAP.
Model Emily Ratajkowski is also a fan of the 80’s throwback. She was spotted at the 50th Anniversary for W Magazine with her - usually smoother - hair in a centre parting and tousled curls.
Actress Katie Holmes was photographed last month as she was out in New York with a set of curly ringlets proving that trend shouldn’t be left in the past.

Hide AdKhloe Kardashian recently shared a snap on her social media giving us full on ‘Dynasty’ vibes wearing a neon pink strapless dress and tights, paired with matching power suit blazer with shoulder pads, huge earrings and big big hair. All part of her Boss Wear collection from Good American.
As much as we are in awe of these stars looking ultra glam with glossy hair, the thought of sitting in a salon with the smell of ‘rotten eggs’ from the ammonia thioglycolate is definitely a trigger and we have to leave this trend well alone.
