Let's be honest… Nobody is really going to complain if Bridgerton heartthrob Regé-Jean Page turns up to a film premiere without his shirt on! He looked incredibly suave when he wore a suit (with no shirt) to the UK premiere of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves at Cineworld Leicester Square in London.

He wore a single-button charcoal jacket and trousers and wore a silver pen on the lapel. When it came to his accessories, Regé-Jean Page wore a silver chain around his neck and black shoes.

The trick when it comes to the new shirtless trend is to share a little bit of skin, but not too much!  Regé-Jean Pageshowed just a tantalising  glimpse of his torso to give awaiting fans a thrill.

When Regé-Jean Page starred in Bridgerton, there was no doubt that the actor quickly gained heartthrob status thanks to his many steamy sex scenes where he was most definitely seen without his shirt for the majority of the time!

When it comes to not wearing a shirt to a red carpet event, Regé-Jean Page is not the first star to adopt this trend and certainly won’t be the last. Top Gun: Maverick actor Danny Ramirez recently wore a white suit with no shirt to the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March of this year. Like Reje-Jean, he also opted for a chain around his neck.

The King of the shirtless trend appears to be fashion maverick Timothée Chalamet. He went shirtless to the 2022 Oscars. According to Vogue, he “posed for the cameras in a sequined black suit by Louis Vuitton- worn sans (without) shirt-instantly setting the Chalamaniacs ablaze. Chalamet’s suit felt particularly fresh given it was plucked from Nicolas Ghesquiere’s spring 2022 womenswear collection.”

If anyone is going to take up the shirtless mantle in the UK (other than,Regé-Jean Page), it would have to be Harry Styles. Harry wore a black velvet Harris Reed design with a giant corsage (very Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City). If that shirtless look wasn’t enough for one evening, he also wore a red cropped and open sequined jacket by Gucci when he performed.

Other stars who appear fond of the new shirtless trend include Lil Nas X who showed more than a hint of skin when he turned up wearing a pink/purple graffiti-style Moschino suit to the 2023 Pre-Grammy gala. Actor Jared Leto wore a purple studded Gucci suit (also with no shirt) to the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November of last year.

If you think this new shirtless trend is a new thing, think again. Back in 2021 Shawn Mendes turned up to the Met Gala with Camilla Cabello wearing a leather jacket with no top!

Camilla reportedly told Vogue that she tried to convince him to not even wear the jacket “I was like, ‘Take it off! Take it off! Sorry to say, he kept it on.”
