Pregnant and Proud: A look at Rihanna’s maternity style as she wears denim crop top in Paris

To say Rihanna’s maternity style is distinctive would be an understatement. The singer has showcased some very different pregnancy style outfits and was just seen wearing another pregnancy-belly showing outfit in Paris. 

The soon to be mother of two was seen leaving the Cesar restaurant in Paris wearing a full denim outfit consisting of a crop top shirt, studded jacket, mini skirt, black studded boots and holding her baby boy. 

For her first pregnancy announcement - with baby daddy A$AP Rocky - Rihanna wore a bright pink Chanel puffer jacket that was left open, ripped jeans that sat perfectly under her burgeoning belly and layers of jewelled and chain necklaces.  

Riri definitely pushed the boundaries when it came to dressing her bump during her first pregnancy. And we have seen the same sort of style so far during her second, which she announced during her Super Bowl Halftime show performance.

The Umbrella singer wore a custom-made red jumpsuit and breastplate by Loewe and matching coat from Alaïa.

Pregnancy style has changed over the past few decades but when it comes to celebrity maternity wear we often see a lot of figure hugging body-con dresses (Blake Lively, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner) that accentuate the blossoming bump but always covering it up. 

Very different to the Fenty founder mommy style as she is very much pregnant and proud. Riro loves wearing outfits that highlight her bump rather than covering it up. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly she said [Pregnancy's] a long nine to 10 months.

You have to enjoy it. Fashion is one of my favourite things, so, you know, we're defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal.”

The singer looked incredible when she performed at the 95th Academy Awards wearing a custom Maison Margiela by John Galliano. And at the beauty launch for Fenty Skin when she posed with A$AP wearing a metallic fringe set of lime-green backless halter top and ombré silver-and-purple pants from The Attico.

The beauty mogul appears to have a firm favourite style of top as she is often seen wearing a lot of crop tops, like the Loewe striped polo shirt also worn by Hailey Bieber.

Looking at all of Rihanna's outfit choices it is difficult to choose our favourite but I would have to say this black sheer lace slip by Dior is my personal fave simply because no-one but Riri could pull this off like she does.
