The BRIT Awards 2023: The worst dressed celebrities on the red carpet

Without question, celebrities want to make a statement when it comes to their fashion choices, particularly when it comes to the red carpet. For The BRIT Awards 2023, there were unfortunately some outfits that attracted attention for all the wrong reasons.

Singer Sam Smith’s outfit was certainly one of a kind! He turned up on the red carpet in an inflated black jumpsuit from what appeared to be made from a latex-style material. What made it even more striking (not in a good way) were the exaggerated sleeves and shoulder pads, and large legs. He completed the look in black high platform boots.

Another singer who also seems to have a penchant for latex is rapper, singer and songwriter Ashnikko who turned up at The Brit Awards 2023 in a rubber style dress which she teamed with perspex platform heels. Her dyed blue hair and bleached eyebrows also added to the ‘eye-catching’ look.

Singer Tallia Storm seemed to think the dress code for The Brit Awards 2023 was ‘beach/ski’ inspired as she turned up for the event in a pink bikini and a faux fur coat, hat and boots. She certainly attracted attention on the red carpet and was not at all shy when it came to posing for the cameras.

Another celebrity who did not win any plaudits for her fashion outfit was singer Megan McKenna who looked like she was going to a ‘cowboy’ style event rather than a music awards. She wore a black leather miniskirt with slits at the side. Meghan completed the look with a stetson, knee high black boots and long leather-look gloves.

Comedian Leigh Francis loves nothing more than attracting attention, but his checked suit and t-shirt (featuring Nicolas Cage’s face) was not a winning fashion look. Although Leigh did seem very proud of his ensemble, it was certainly not attracting any style plaudits.
