I am sure it must have been very emotional for Cora Corré to take to the catwalk for her late grandmother Dame Vivienne Westwood’s Paris Fashion Week Show as It was only a few months ago that the legendary designer passed away. However, she looked utterly spellbinding in an off-the shoulder white lace bodice (the bodice has become synonymous with Vivienne Westwood) and knee high white boots.

Cora Corré carried a bouquet of flowers as she walked the runway in a very modern take on a bridal look. It is of course traditional at the end of a runway show that a model walks down the catwalk in a wedding outfit. This tradition is believed to have started in the 1940s and 50s when the likes of Lanvin and Balmain unveiled a wedding look at the end of their couture shows.

Cora Corré was only too happy to pose for photographs on the catwalk with Dame Vivienne Westwood’s widower and designer of her collection, Andreas Kronthaler. Cora’s parents are Joseph Corré (the son of Vivienne) and Serena Rees.

On her Instagram today to mark the occasion of her modelling, Cora shared a photograph of herself as a child with her late grandmother, alongside a touching tribute. Cora said: “Someone said we walk the same the other day. ”She then continued by saying: “We both strive that’s for sure (I stride out of awkwardness) Your strides only fierceness and grace through everything.”

The late Vivienne Westwood’s memorial took place at Southwark Cathedral in London in February of this year. A-list stars such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Richard E. Grant and Paloma Faith were in attendance.
