V&A Summer party best and worst dressed: Lady Amelia Windsor looks stunning in pink Hellessy Co-ord

The Victoria and Albert Museum otherwise known as the V&A hosted its annual fundraiser at the South Kensington on Wednesday evening. The A-listers arrived in the most stylish and fashionable outfits and over a thousand celebrities and socialites attended the event. It’s like the UK’s version of the Met Gala but on a slightly smaller scale. 

The ‘Diva’ exhibition will be open to the public from 24 June and will celebrate the 'power of iconic performers to transform and inspire’. It will showcase over 250 objects from fashion, photography and music. 

Leading the way was Lady Amelia Windsor wearing a pinky-peach bustier and a matching skirt with contrasting black panel by New York brand Hellessy. Although the Royal has her own line of sustainable footwear on this occasion she opted for a pair of paisley printed platform heels by Michael Kors. 

DJ Calvin Harris’ fiancée Vick Hope flashed her bottom in a black peek-a-boo tulle dress by Lanvin. The floor length dress featured panels of tulle and a cowl back styled by Itunu Oke. The fashion stylist has worked with Vick in the past, previously styling her for the BAFTAs and the Brit Awards. 

Munroe Bergdorf never fails with her fashion choices. The model and activist wore a show-stopping black and gold embellished dress with off the shoulder puff-ball sleeves, gold butterfly and intricate embroidery detail on the skirt. 

Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie who was on the committee for the summer party wore an elegant silk ivory gown with batwing sleeves by fashion designer boyfriend Giles Deacon.  

Clara Amfo rocked a sky blue blazer dress with contrasting orange accessories. Whilst Dame Joan Collins looked sensational in a silver gown and Dame Shirly Bassey looked incredible in a tailored white suit. 

Of course it wasn’t all stunning outfits, a few made it onto our worst dressed list too. Lady Victoria Hervey loves to push the boundaries when it comes to fashion. Sadly this time it completely missed the mark as she wore an asymmetrical white mini dress. 

Trinny Woodall looked like she had taken inspiration from Harry Styles silver jumpsuit he wore for his Grammy performance outfit. The TV personality wore a long sleeved metallic green fringe top and matching maxi skirt from online retailer ASOS. 

Actress Emma Appleton wore an orange dress with feather trim cuffs from Italian designer Taller Marmo but the oversized style did nothing for her figure. 

The original Sugababes members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy must have missed the memo that it was a  ‘summer’ party as all three ladies dress in head to toe black outfits.
