How much is Victoria Beckham worth? Fashion designer and Spice Girl celebrates her 49th birthday

Victoria Beckham celebrates her 49th birthday today, and if it’s anything like the last few years, we can be sure it will be a lavish affair. 

The fashion designer will be celebrating her birthday today and unlike most celebrities Victoria doesn’t ignore growing another year older, but instead embraces the day along with all the love from family and friends.

Husband David led the birthday celebrations by sharing a gushing message on Instagram. He shared a throwback pic of the couple and captioned it “Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife and mummy. Someone who inspires us every single day. We love you and you deserve to have the most perfect day. Happy Birthday”. 

Last year, David threw Victoria a purple themed birthday party at the Sushi Fly Chicken Restaurant in Miami. The couple partied with family and friends with a bespoke eight tier birthday cake. It was just a few days after son Brooklyn married model Nicola Peltz. 

David and Victoria are known as one of the most iconic celebrity couples in the world. With an estimated combined net worth of $380 million dollars, the former Spice girl has a net worth of $450 million. PeopleWorld looks at how much has she made her fortune...

Spice Girls 

Before becoming a fashion designer, Victoria was part of the phenomenal pop group the Spice Girls. It was ‘girl power’ all the way, with the band selling over 80 million records worldwide, tours, a movie and a whole range of Spice merchandise. 

The former Posh Spice earned around $70 million annually, and when the group reunited for their 2007 reunion tour, they grossed another $70 million. Even though Victoria has been absent from some of the Spice Girls performances she still earns a cut of the money from endorsements, licensing deals and merchandise. 

Victoria Beckham Fashion Label 

In 2008 Victoria launched her fashion label and although the designer had stores in UK and US, it took a few years before the brand made any profit. The clothing line was reported to be worth over $100 million dollars, but has had to be bailed out a few times by investors and hubby David. 

In 2023 it was reported that thanks to Victoria launching her Beauty range and accessories, the label had finally made profit. She is now a sought after designer with successful fashion shows in Paris, London and New York as well as her items being worn by the Hollywood elite including Priyanka Chopra Jonas. 

Brand endorsements

Victoria focuses solely on promoting her fashion label and beauty products on her social media, but there was a time she worked with other brands. She previously posed alongside husband David in their underwear for the Emporio Armani campaign. The pair earned a reported $17 million for a three year contract with the brand. 

Handbags

Victoria is rumoured to own over 100 Hermes Birkin bags, which are widely considered the most valuable and sought-after. The designer bag is even considered a better investment than buying gold. Her handbag collection alone  is worth almost $2 million.
