Following their successful "Save Our Oceans" collaboration in 2020, the fashion house of the late Vivienne Westwood and Eastpak have released a new collaborative collection ready for the 2023 back-to-school season. The collection showcases seven utilitarian accessories that merge Eastpak's durability with Vivienne Westwood's distinctive British design. 

The collaboration features a "Planets" print inspired by astrology's "Saturn return," symbolizing significant transformation. The collection comprises backpacks, totes, duffels, crossbody bags, suitcases, and satchels. Interestingly, the "Planets" print is linked to the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS19 collection.

The bags are not only stylish but are indeed sustainable, using recycled polyester for construction, lining, webbing, and logos, with the range including models like the Jessice and Padded backpacks, Tote Bag, Duffel Bag, the signature One silhouette, and the new Satchel. The use of these materials echoes Vivienne Westwood's long dedication to sustainable fashion and environmental activism.

The collaboration also carries a philanthropic aspect, supporting the Cool Earth initiative, which safeguards endangered rainforests and combats global warming.

When can I buy Vivienne Westwood X Eastpak’s collaborative efforts?

The collection is available to buy from Eastpak’s UK store as of now, while in the United States, the collection will become available on September 9. 

Additionally, a sophisticated suitcase will be exclusively available in Vivienne Westwood boutiques and selected stockists will also have some of the collection available in brick-and-mortar stores.
