New York Fashion Week; what to expect from the Spring Summer 2024 calendar

The countdown is on with only 42 days until Fashion Month kicks off here’s everything you need to know about NYFW as the schedule has been announced. 

The Council of Fashion Designers America (CFDA) has released its preliminary official New York Fashion Week schedule which kicks off September 8 - September 13 and is held at the Spring Studios, Varick Street. 

NYFW will kick off with Helmut Lang’s spring collection designed for the first time by Peter Do. He said “I am deeply committed to preserving the legacy of Helmut Lang while also infusing it with my own perspective and creativity. We are excited to open NYFW with an energetic chapter for the house.”

Over 71 designers have been confirmed including Alice + Olivia, Anna Sui, Dennis Basso, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Cos, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez and Gabriela Hearst. Ralph Lauren will be making his return to the runway as well as  Jonathan Cohen, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Sally LaPointe. We are sure the fashion elite will be out in full force with K-Pop NCT's Mark Lee and model Lily Aldridge as Ralph Lauren brand ambassadors.

The show will close with CFDA Fashion Awards winner for Accessories Designer of the Year, Luar shown by Raul Lopez.
