Chill Bill Spritzy red wine: North South Wines recalls bottles due to sulphites health risk

North South Wines is recalling Chill Bill Spritzy red wine because it contains sulphites that aren’t on the label.

It could make people with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites ill if they drink it.

It is a standard 75cl bottle and the lot numbers are L4011B1 and L4185B1.

North South Wines said: “If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites do not consume it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund (with or without a receipt). The Food Standards Agency is also publicising the recall.
