Chill Bill Spritzy red wine: North South Wines recalls bottles due to sulphites health risk

Bottles of red wine are being recalled because of a possible health risk.

North South Wines is recalling Chill Bill Spritzy red wine because it contains sulphites that aren’t on the label.

It could make people with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites ill if they drink it.

It is a standard 75cl bottle and the lot numbers are L4011B1 and L4185B1.

North South Wines said: “If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites do not consume it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund (with or without a receipt). For further information, please contact North South Wines on 0203 871 9210 or [email protected]

The Food Standards Agency is also publicising the recall.
