15 postcodes outside London where house prices are most expensive

Data from the HM Land Registry database of sales reveals that while London remains the most expensive for property values, house prices outside the capital are on the up.

National estate agent Keller Williams UK analysed sold property prices across the market in England and Wales since the beginning of 2021 to reveal the areas with the highest property values, based on the median sold price. This is the middle number in a sorted, ascending or descending, list of numbers which is used to avoid unusually low or high figures skewing the average.

Listed are the 15 postcodes outside of London where house prices are the most expensive in terms of median price. Some postcode districts overlap with Greater London areas, but the values given exclude the Greater London data points within these. Images are for illustrative purposes.
