It’s not just Margot Robbie’s Barbie that has got style. Ken looks good too

It’s no secret that we can’t wait for the new Barbie movie and are totally obsessed with Margot Robbie’s press tour wardrobe. I mean ‘she’s everything and he’s just Ken’. However, it seems we have - until now- overlooked Ryan Gosling’s 'Ken' style outfits.

It’s the most anticipated movie of the year starring Margot as the titular character and Ryan as love interest Ken. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig with an endless list of actors in the movie - even singer Dua Lipa has a role in the film.

The world has gone Barbie mad and you can even rent out Barbie's Malibu Dream house with Airbnb with Ken as your host.

That’s right it’s not just Barbie that has a fabulous closet of stylish outfits for the press tour. Ryan has been bringing his best ‘Ken-ergy’ with his fashion choices. The actor has been spotted wearing a range of pastel-toned suits, from soft yellow, powder blue and even blush pink all by Gucci.

Just like Margot who has fully embraced her character and been styled by Andrew Mukamal, Ryan is also taking his role very seriously and looking like his doll character. Ryan has his own mastermind in the form of celebrity stylist and personal costumer Mark Avery. As well as stylising Ryan during the press tour, Mark was involved in coming up with looks for the actual film.

Ryan is best known for his role as Noah in the romantic film ‘The Notebook’. He explained that he originally doubted being able to play Ken. According to Film Updates reports he said “Up until this point, I only knew Ken from afar. I didn't know Ken from within. I doubted my Ken-ergy. I didn't see it. But Margot and Greta [Gerwig] conjured this out of me.”

How to get the Ryan Gosling ‘Ken’ look?

Don’t worry if you don’t want to bleach your hair white ‘Ken’s style can be low-key too. At the beginning of the press tour the actor was pictured wearing a pair of black Levi Jeans, simple white top and unbuttoned light-beige cardigan with vintage brown belt and lace up shoes.

Of course if you want to wear the full Ken-ification look then a soft pastel toned suit with lighter shirt will definitely tick all the boxes. You can even the simple accessory of Barbie style initial just like Ryan did at the Los Angeles film premiere. The actor wore an ‘E’ necklace that poked through his shirt in honour if his wife Eva Mendes.

Summer is the perfect time to mix up your style and embrace the Barbie-core vibe without looking like your wearing fancy dress. If you don't have the Gucci budget then ASOS and Moss London have a great selection of candy-coloured suits.

However you decide to wear the Ken outfits you just have to remember one thing and that's no matter what ‘you are Keough’ and your Kenergy is in you.

The Barbie Movie is out in cinemas from 21 July.
